Thursday, Nov 20, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM, "Citizens Connect: The Future of Transit in Greater Cincinnati", presented by Citizens for Civic Renewal (CCR), with guest speaker Marilyn Shazor, CEO of Metro (the same speaker we are having for our November "Dinner With the League" - see below). Location: First Unitarian Church, 536 Linton St. Avondale. Registration Fee: $15 at the door.



*Monday, November 24, at 5:30 PM: Dinner with the League "Regional Transportation: Now and in the Future" - one of the necessities for a green Cincinnati.
Featured speaker: Marilyn Shazor, Chief Executive Officer, Cincinnati Metro.
Social Time begins 5:30; Dinner at 6:00; Speaker at 6:45. Location: The Vernon Manor Hotel, 400 Oak Street.

Wed, Dec. 3, at 7 pm, Forum on the proposed Cincinnati Environmental Justice Ordinance, sponsored by the Women's City Club. Location: Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church, 103 Wm. Howard Taft Ave, in the Geier Room. Speakers will be Council members Crowley and Monzel.




Fri, Dec 19, 4:30-6:00 PM, Conversation on Ohio Public School Funding, on WCET-TV. Check this page later, for local "watch parties" where you will have an opportunity to offer written feedback to the governor for his 2009 reform proposal. Each watch party will be attended by a state official - Lt. Governor Lee Fisher, First Lady Frances Strickland, University System of Ohio Chancellor Eric D.
