2009 ELECTION INFORMATION

Primary Election is Tuesday, May 5, 2009.
Polls are open 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
Registration Closes: April 6, 2009 for the May 5 Primary Election.
Special Election may be held on August 4, 2009.
Polls are open 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Registration Closes: July 6, 2009 for the Special Election.
General Election is Tuesday, November 3, 2009.
Polls are open 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
Registration Closes: October 5, 2009 for the November 3 General Election.
Mailed in registration forms sent to the Hamilton County Board of Elections or the Secretary of State's office must be postmarked 30 days before an election to be valid for the election.
- Your written request for a mailed ballot must be received at the Board of Elections by 12 Noon Saturday, October 31 for the November
3, 2009 General Election.
- Request an absentee ballot as early as possible and allow enough
time if returning ballot by mail delivery to meet the return deadline.
- All voted absentee ballots must be received by the Board of
Elections office by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day in order to be counted.
IN 2009 HAMILTON COUNTY VOTERS WILL ELECT:
- Municipal officers in cities and villages
- Municipal judges and court clerks
- Township officers
- Members of the boards of education
